The prostate is located beneath the male bladder and is as large as a plum. As men enter middle age, around age 50, the prostate usually enlarges to the size of an apple, preventing urine from passing through it. Malignant tumors may also occur in the prostate.

Treatment
- In more severe cases, the doctor may perform surgery to remove the prostate.
